Microsoft UAE’s Naim Yazbeck kicked off Microsoft’s Global AI Tour in the UAE, spotlighting groundbreaking AI innovations empowering UAE businesses. The event, hosted in partnership with G42, welcomed top executives from Microsoft and UAE companies. From Abu Dhabi's AI-powered TAMM to the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority’s early adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot, UAE entities are integrating forward-looking Microsoft technology into all aspects of their operations.

Yazbeck celebrated the partnership with the UAE, saying it will continue "for decades to come" as the country sets an ambitious benchmark for AI adoption.

Why This Matters

Microsoft's $1.5 billion investment to G42 is driving digital transformation across the UAE. The long-standing partnership includes a joint sovereign cloud, various AI offerings and innovation centers dedicated to developing ethical AI. The partnership also enables organizations like the First Abu Dhabi Bank, ADNOC and the Department of Government Enablement to accelerate AI adoption while maintaining data security and strong cybersecurity benchmarks.

“At Microsoft, we are honored to partner with forward-thinking organizations in the UAE, driving transformation in this new AI era and empowering them to shape a future characterized by innovation and resilience.” – Naim Yazbeck, President of Microsoft Middle East and Africa and Former Manager of Microsoft UAE
