Working with the Trump Administration, the UAE has committed to a historic $1.4 trillion investment in the US over the next decade. Announced in March during HH Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed’s official visit to the US, the strategic investments will boost sectors like AI, energy, advanced manufacturing and life sciences.
Key projects include a:
o $14.5 billion order for 28 Boeing 787 and 777X jets with GE engines from Etihad Airways.
o $4 billion investment from Emirates Global Aluminium to build America’s first new domestic aluminum smelter in 45years.
o $1.2 billion ADQ and Orion Resource Partners mining partnership to secure critical minerals.
Why This Matters
The UAE’s 10-year, $1.4 trillion investment partnership with the US builds on the existing $1 trillion economic relationship between the two countries. The UAE is one of the US’s fastest-growing economic partners with trade relations that benefit all 50 US states. The targeted investments will create prosperity for American workers, growth for the economy and security for American supply chains.
