Core42, the Abu Dhabi-based sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure company, has more than tripled its data center capacity in the United States from 18MW to 60MW, strengthening its position in one of the world's fastest-growing markets for AI infrastructure.

The expansion is anchored by new capacity in Minneapolis, where Core42 recently partnered with US digital infrastructure company T5 Data Centers to support growing demand for AI compute. The latest growth builds on Core42's existing US footprint, which includes operations in New York and other key markets serving enterprise, cloud, and government customers.

Part of the G42 ecosystem, Core42 has emerged as a key player in the UAE's AI ambitions, providing the cloud and computing infrastructure needed to power advanced AI applications. The company is also working closely with leading American technology providers, including Nvidia and AMD, whose advanced chips are increasingly driving demand for large-scale data center capacity across the United States.

The announcement comes as AI-driven demand is reshaping the digital infrastructure landscape, with access to power, compute, and data center capacity becoming a critical competitive advantage for companies developing and deploying next-generation AI systems.

Why This Matters

Behind every breakthrough AI model is a vast network of data centers supplying the power and compute required to train and deploy it. By expanding its US footprint to 60MW, Core42 is positioning itself at the heart of America's AI infrastructure buildout. The expansion highlights the growing role of UAE companies not only as investors in AI, but as builders of the physical infrastructure enabling the next generation of innovation in the United States. It also reinforces the increasingly interconnected UAE–US AI ecosystem spanning semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, advanced computing, and data centers.
