Masdar City, in partnership with M42 and Kansas-based Attentive Science, has launched Biosphere Labs, a new life sciences hub designed to accelerate research, innovation, and commercialization in the UAE. Announced during the BIO International Convention in San Diego, the facility provides researchers, startups, and biotechnology companies with access to advanced laboratory space, specialized equipment, and scientific support, helping bring new therapies and technologies to market faster.

Operated by Attentive Science, Biosphere Labs is designed to help international life sciences companies establish a presence in Abu Dhabi while connecting them to the emirate's rapidly growing health and biotechnology ecosystem. The initiative builds on Abu Dhabi's HELM (Health, Endurance, Longevity, and Medicine) cluster and reflects the UAE's continued investment in creating a globally competitive environment for scientific research and innovation.
