AIQ, the Abu Dhabi-based artificial intelligence company born from a partnership between ADNOC and Presight, a G42 company, is looking to expand into the United States after spending the past six years developing and deploying AI solutions across ADNOC's operations. The company has built nearly 300 AI applications designed to improve safety, reduce downtime, and increase productivity across the energy value chain.
Originally developed to solve operational challenges within ADNOC, AIQ has deployed AI at scale across one of the world's largest energy producers. The company's technology supports everything from predictive maintenance and worker safety monitoring to subsurface modeling and production optimization. Having demonstrated results in the UAE, AIQ is now looking to bring those capabilities to energy producers in the United States.
The planned expansion comes as energy companies increasingly adopt artificial intelligence to improve efficiency, enhance safety, and maximize production. AIQ's approach focuses on practical, field-tested AI tools trained on decades of operational data, allowing energy producers to integrate AI into existing workflows and operations.
Why This Matters
Much of the discussion around AI focuses on chips, models, and infrastructure. AIQ highlights another important dimension of the UAE–US AI relationship: the export of real-world AI applications developed and proven at scale. As American energy companies increasingly look to leverage artificial intelligence to improve productivity and operational performance, AIQ's planned US expansion would bring UAE-developed technology into one of the world's largest energy markets. The move also demonstrates how the UAE is contributing not only capital and infrastructure to the global AI ecosystem, but also deployable AI solutions designed for strategic industries.
“We’ve proven that we can do it here in the UAE. Now it’s time for us to export.” Dennis Jol, AIQ CEO.
