The UAE is all in on American AI

The two nations are forging one of the world’s most consequential and fastest-growing economic partnerships. With more than $1 trillion already invested and a new $1.4 trillion commitment, this partnership is set to reshape industries, invest in American businesses, and create jobs.

1 big thing: UAE turbocharges American AI — and more

At the heart of this partnership lies a key pillar: artificial intelligence. During President Trump’s state visit to Abu Dhabi, the two countries launched the U.S.-UAE AI Acceleration Partnership — a key milestone in a relationship that has already seen major UAE investments in American AI. This agreement includes the creation of a 5GW UAE-US AI Campus in Abu Dhabi, the largest AI infrastructure project outside the US.

Why it matters

  • The new partnership includes dual investments: a 1GW Stargate UAE compute cluster in Abu Dhabi and an equivalent UAE investment through MGX in the U.S. Stargate project.
  • This partnership demonstrates the full commitment of UAE leadership to advance and securely proliferate American AI.
  • American enterprises have direct access to the $8 trillion Middle East, Africa, and South Asia market.
